Annette McMaster

Annette is a member of Fibreworks and has made various   fibre related works of art since the inception of Fibreworks .

Exhibition Venues   include  local as well as overseas venues  . Her work has also been part of travelling exhibitions throughout Europe



JABULISA a showcase of Natal artists work showcased  three of Annette’s works   in 2000(?)  2006  and 2009  Her self-portrait was purchased by the TATHAM ART MUSEUM  (2000)

In 2007   “Objects from Home” was chosen from  101 entries from 20 countries around the world  , and ended on the last 43 artists from 17 countries to be exhibited at ALEXANDRA PALACE (LONDON)


2009 : Annette  was  one of 20 NATAL artists  invited   to be part of the “Contemporary reflections : exhibition at the TATHAM ART MUSEUM


In 2009 : 112 Entries from 18 countries were   juried down to 51 works from various artists . Annette’s work  titled : “It’s in our Hands “ was amongst those selected once again

In 2013 Annette’s  work titled “SKIN HAS A MEMORY” was selected for the last 100 out of 1793 works entries in the first SANLAM PORTRAIT COMPETITION

In 2014 Annette was amongst those invited by the Michigan State University to take part in a TRIBUTE TO NELSON MANDELA . Her quilt was purchased by the university and will be part of their permanent collection

In 2016 Annette was once again one of the artists chosen to pay tribute to Desmond and Leah Tut
