Innocent Mduduzi Dzanibe was born in 1989 at Umzimkhulu, KZN, South Africa.
He is a Durban based visual artist who started drawing at an early age. Dzanibe was encouraged by his grandfather who believed in his talent to explore art as a career.
Dzanibe focuses on portraying culture and diversity and specializes in portraiture. He completed an Art and Design course (including NIC and NSC) at eThekwini (FET) College. His work has been exhibited in numerous shows in Durban where it was positively received.
Dzanibe’s themes explore social problems faced daily. He works in various mediums, especially acrylic paint on canvas. He has collaborated with the artist, Lungelo Gumede, and now works from his studio at The BAT Centre.
