This months feature musicians we have ‘Reverie’ - Mandy and Kelo K. Reverie are the jazz duo bringing you a chilled and laid-back experience.

A Pharmacist by day and Musician by night – Mandy Rae Cobbing is able to enjoy two vocations although playing jazz piano is her real passion. After chasing her dream and graduating from UKZN with a diploma in Jazz and Popular Music in 2017, she gained the experience to perform on stage as pianist for the well-known Durban jazz band Heels over Head for two years, then started her own quartet, “Reverie”, playing the tunes she loves most, mostly jazz standards of swing, bossa and ballad nature. She can adapt to playing with the quartet or a trio or duo.

Kelo K is a Durban born singer. He has been singing since his high school days and was part of the Pinetown Boys High School Choir. In 2011 he joined the KwaZulu-Natal Youth Choir and where he recieved formal vocal training. 2013 with sponsorship from the Ethekwini Municipality where he was afforded the opportunity to travel to Italy for a choir competition. He studied Foundation Programme in Jazz through UKZN. He has worked with local heavy weights: Artist Aewon wolf and Sketchy Bongo.
