In our Main and Mezzanine Galleries you can view the solo exhibition ‘Vertoef/Linger’ by Andries Gouws. The Park Contemporary Gallery will be open to purchase some of the best in local art.
This months feature musicians we have ‘Reverie’ - Mandy and Kelo K. Reverie are the jazz duo bringing you a chilled and laid-back experience.
A Pharmacist by day and Musician by night – Mandy Rae Cobbing is able to enjoy two vocations although playing jazz piano is her real passion. After chasing her dream and graduating from UKZN with a diploma in Jazz and Popular Music in 2017, she gained the experience to perform on stage as pianist for the well-known Durban jazz band Heels over Head for two years, then started her own quartet, “Reverie”, playing the tunes she loves most, mostly jazz standards of swing, bossa and ballad nature. She can adapt to playing with the quartet or a trio or duo.
Kelo K is a Durban born singer. He has been singing since his high school days and was part of the Pinetown Boys High School Choir. In 2011 he joined the KwaZulu-Natal Youth Choir and where he recieved formal vocal training. 2013 with sponsorship from the Ethekwini Municipality where he was afforded the opportunity to travel to Italy for a choir competition. He studied Foundation Programme in Jazz through UKZN. He has worked with local heavy weights: Artist Aewon wolf and Sketchy Bongo.

The bar and Arts Cafe kitchen is open 5.00 - 8.00 and serving specials to suit all pockets and preferences (vegeterian friendly). Look out for!

Be sure to explore more of Durban's art scenes by making use of the Connect031 People Mover buses moving between KZNSA Gallery, Florida Road, Durban (outside old Spiga and down by Gin Gallery) and at Station Drive Precinct (on Umgeni Road outside Crazy Cars).
Starting at 18h00 utilise the convenience of a hop on, with a bus leaving KZNSA and Station Drive every 30 minutes. R30 for an all night trip, or R15 per single trip. There will be a Go Durban banner at each stop.
