Nondumiso Mbambo

Nondumiso is a non-practicing admitted attorney in the High Court of South Africa, currently working in the social impact ecosystem. She holds a combination of skills from legal, business development, strategy and public policy. Her career has enabled her to work in the private sector and civil society in South Africa, as well as the public sector in Texas. She is currently the Head of Systems Change Initiatives at Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator (Harambee). Harambee is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works with partners to find solutions for the challenge of youth unemployment. Prior to joining Harambee, Nondumiso was the Development Manager at Futurelect (formerly Apolitical Academy) and later, she was promoted to Communications & Special Projects Director. Futurelect delivers non-partisan leadership development and training programmes to diverse groups of ethical and innovative young leaders in Africa. She launched the SADC programme and a Global programme in London which was
a partnership with the World Economic Forum. She also was integral in the exploration of another leadership programme in Central Europe. She is recognised as one of the 2020 Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans and a former World Economic Forum Global Shaper belonging to the Tshwane Hub. She is an alumnus of Rhodes University (Bachelor of Social Sciences & LLB).
