The KZNSA Gallery’s biggest local-only Christmas fair is back. Opening on Thursday 14 November 2019, 17h30, and running into the new year. This year’s theme is BEING GREEN.

As calls for climate change grow louder and young people all over the world speak out about environmental catastrophe, we find ways to live greener and consume responsibly.

This year, find a number of hero artists and designers selling their stock, many using sustainable materials, and promoting zero waste lifestyles. Johannesburg and Cape Town brands such as Chifunilo Mulusa, Master Goldsmith Birgit Duval and Granadilla Swim, can all be found at The KZNSA Gallery this BUZZART19.

Internationally renowned designer, Amanda Laird Cherry and Louis de Villiers’ collaborative clothing capsule, plus artist tote bags, will also be available.

There will be a number of activations and exhibitions for visitors to enjoy this festive season. For one week only (14 – 22 November), view the photographic body of work, Still City, by Aik Christodoulou, as mentored by Matt Kay, in the Park Gallery.

In an effort to reduce, and re-use, The KZNSA, is calling for second hand surf and skate apparel, boards, books, and magazines, to re-sell or up-cycle. Any items unsold will be donated to The Charity HOP Shop, the local precinct charity of choice.

In our Glass Box, every Tuesday and Thursday from 10h00 – 14h00, award-winning Independent publication, Ja. Magazine, hosts free zine, collage and writing workshops.
