An  evening at the KZNSA Gallery promises to be a feast of art, music and breyani.

‘After 20 years, 20 Artists’ is an exhibition conceived and developed by the KZNSA as part of the Gallery's ‘Social Art Programme 2014/15’. Critically engaged, socially relevant contemporary art making is at the core of this innovative programme. The exhibition is a large scale group showing of works by 20 artists. The exhibition operates within the context of the anniversary of 20 years of rights based Constitutional Democracy in South Africa.

‘Take Note’ is a specially commissioned musical celebration, expression and meditation on South Africa’s 20 years of democracy. The 80-minute revue Winston ‘Mankunku’ Ngozi (‘Yakal’ Nkomo’),Mongezi Feza , Prof Salim Washington , Prof Neil Gonsalves, Dr Sazi Dhlamini,  Pilani Ngidi , Leon Sharnick and their protégés, with spoken narrative and poetry by Lihle Ngema Musicians
Thanks to funder support from the National Lotto Distribution Trust Fund and eThekwini Municipality the music line up and breyani is on the house. Please join us for a one of a kind evening.
