A moving, multi-disciplinary site-specific work that explores a creative fusion of dance, movement, poetry, live singing, imagery, video and innovative costume design all creatively customized for the KZNSA space. 'Echoes' is part of the 'what u say 'bout what' youth theme and title of our current exhibition which features upcoming creatives from in and around KZN.

‘Echoes’ explores issues around rights of passage and personal identity. This interactive work will see the audience being taken on a personal and somewhat political journey as they pilgrimage in and around the KZNSA space as led by the 'Movement Laboratory' performers.

This socio-political piece promises to challenge the audience to think and reflect on the social and political issues that are affecting the youth and to deconstruct the stereotypes that are generally associated with youth.

This interactive performance lasts for approximately 45 minutes.

A post performance discussion with the choreographer will be available should the audience wish to engage with him.

ONLY A CASH BAR WILL BE AVAILABLE
