The KZNSA is hosting a public activation in response to the current xenophobic crisis in Durban.

An installation will be created from public contributions and personal effects that speak to displacement, solidarity and humanity. These concepts will be interrogated in a panel discussion that explores how the current tension informs the creative practice of artists.

We encourage you to bring along personal effects to create a live installation showing our solidarity with all those affected by the current unrest. We will also be collecting donations of food and toiletry items for the Red Cross to assist refugees in camps.

This activation will take place alongside the new exhibition opening in the Park Gallery, 'My Colourful Humble Endeavors Against Global Warming' by Sicelo Ziqubu.

Please join us and speak out against xenophobia.
