Reflecting on Identity and Stereotypes
- a discussion, screening and Q&A with Bayete Ross Smith

Bayete Ross Smith is a photographer, filmmaker and educator whose projects are designed to challenge bias, promote equity and foster community. His widely acclaimed study, 'Our Kind of People', analyses stereotypes and examines how perceptions based on race, background and gender affect our daily interactions.

Ross Smith is a faculty member at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He is also Columbia Law School's inaugural artist in residence.

All are welcome and entry is free, and the Arts Cafe will be serving a special supper menu - be there!
