There was a burglary at the KZNSA Gallery late last Sunday afternoon:
Karabo and Thuli stole each other’s hearts in an unusual marriage proposal. In cahoots with the Gallery Curator, photographer Dale Yudelman - who is currently presenting his solo exhibition ‘Life  Under Democracy’ -  worked to create a one of a kind image (a mug shot of the groom to be) holding his ipad which read “THULI MI AMOR, WILL YOU MARRY ME?

Dale added real life to his exhibition (the fruits of his winning the inaugural Ernest Cole Photographic Awards) by adding Karabo’s photograph which was ‘discovered’ in the Gallery, on what was ostensibly just another Gallery visit, by the unsuspecting Thuli. Dale and the Gallery gifted the couple with the framed print as evidence for future generations of the happy couple that ‘a picture really does speak a thousand words’!

How will you propose?....tweet us @KZNSA1
