Two new exhibitions opened last night Tuesday 23rd, both exhibitions focused their artistic lenses on eThekwini.

On the Mezzanine and in the Park Contemporary Gallery is ‘Durbanity’ – new photographic work by the KZNSA Durban Centre for Photography, (DCP) class of 2012. Interface2012 – 14, a dala project is a group exhibition that revolves around public space, specifically the ‘city walk’ which is the flow of pedestrians to and from he city to Cato Manor. Doung Jahangeer and Michael Croeser will be working in the Main Gallery this week to create a large scale sculptural/architectural model. A sizable crowd   cheered as the DCP students were presented with their course certificates, truly a landmark in the history of the KZNSA and the beginning of new journey for these young photographers.
