Artist-Led Walkabout: Common Ground

The KZNSA Gallery invites members of the public to join us on Sunday, 15 March at 13h00 for an artist-led walkabout of the exhibition Common Ground, currently on view in the Main and Mezzanine Galleries.

The walkabout will be led by Jess Bothma, conceptualiser of the exhibition and winner of the 2024 KZNSA Gallery Members’ Award Show. During the session, Bothma will guide visitors through the exhibition, sharing insights into the curatorial process and the ideas that informed the development of the show.

This informal walkthrough offers audiences an opportunity to spend time with the works on display and to engage more deeply with the exhibition’s exploration of sculpture as a shared practice. Through a range of materials, processes, and approaches, Common Ground reflects on the dialogues and relationships that emerge through collaborative and interconnected ways of making.

Participating artists in the exhibition include Andries Botha, Carla Da Cruz, Gert Swart, Karuni Naidoo, Zwelinjani Radebe, Steven Khoza, and Jess Bothma.
