2024 is a special year for the Bremen-Durban city partnership with the Bremen-Durban Twinning Association celebrating its 25th anniversary.

This travel and research project has resulted in art connections between the cities of Bremen, Germany and Durban, South Africa sparking international networking and the promotion of intercultural discourse between Germany and the Global South. On this occasion, the visual artists Edeltraut Rath and Martin Voßwinkel will be exhibiting their artworks in the Park Gallery from 21 June – 14 July 2024. They will also spend two weeks in Durban to refresh and intensify existing connections with the local visual arts scene and to establish new contacts.
