Instead of asking yourself “What now?” Pick up a lump of clay and get creative, see where the clay takes you. Clay is a medium that is tactile in all its forms, and a form of therapy. From a clump of earth to the ultimate piece whether it be functional or decorative it is still a thing of beauty. For the end user, it is the pleasurable moment of holding it or using it.

This year the Ceramic Association of Sourthern Africa KZN is delighted to have DUT sharing the exhibition space with then after the resounding success in 2023. Students being the lifeblood of the ceramic journey and the promise of a new wave of creative youthful ideas.

The mission of the Ceramic Association of Southern Africa KZN is for their members to grow and develop as ceramicists and encourage new ceramicists. They aim to provide a platform encouraging their members to explore their creative expression through clay and learning by means of diverse workshops throughout the year. This exhibition aims to highlight the journey and celebrate the work of all the various artists.
