And yet, beneath the surface, many learners are navigating academic backlogs, stigma, violence, mental health struggles, exclusion, poverty, and the absence of support.

The ‘Hanging By A Thread’ exhibition presented by the Zero Dropout Campaign invites you to step into that complexity – bringing to life what it takes for teens to learn, stay engaged in school, and thrive. Through first-hand stories from teens, powerful images, and lessons from School Dropout research, the exhibition bids people of all backgrounds and ages to make a connection with the realities of many young people.

You will step into the world of teen learners who are reshaping their futures through courage, creativity, and persistence. Alongside their stories, data and information graphics reveal the national picture: what holds teen learners back, what helps them stay in school, and what it will take to transform the system for millions more.

Beyond the showcase, this is a call to see, listen, and imagine a different trajectory for learners and teens across the country.
