Welcome to the KZNSA membership how-to user guide
We understand that digital systems can be a little tricky sometimes, and even the best of us have issues from time to time, and that’s when the system is working at its best. It’s no secret that we have had a couple of issues with the system and we are still doing our best to work these all out and get everything working as it should. This is all part of the broader effort to digitise the membership process and start to use the website as an active part of being a member of the KZNSA. With this, we hope to answer some of the common questions and outline the processes.
How can I sign up as a member?
- To purchase a membership click the “JOIN” button on the top right side of the main navigation.
- Select the membership type that suits you. We have the options for regular Adult, Student, Senior, Family or Lifetime Members.
- Insert your personal details.
- *IF YOU ARE USING A COUPON, now insert the coupon code in the “Have a coupon?” box on the top left side.
- “Pay with Card” will already be selected.
- Click “JOIN NOW”
- This will take you through to the Paystack payment portal. Complete your credit card details and authorise your payment via your banking app (or chosen verification method for your bank).
- Once complete, the system will redirect you back to the KZNSA website. You can then navigate to your profile by clicking on the circle on the top right side of the screen and on the dropdown menu, choosing “My Account”.
How can I access my membership profile?
- To access your KZNSA membership profile, head over to the Member Login Page which can be found by clicking the user icon on the top right-hand side of the menu on the KZNSA website.
- Enter your username and password and click “log in”.
- If you do not know your password, you can click “Forgot Password” and follow the steps to send a password reset link.
- Once logged in (you will see your name and email on the top right side of the main navigation). You can then edit your personal information and view/edit your subscriptions.
How do I renew my membership?
- To renew your gallery membership, you must first log in to your membership profile.
- Go to the ‘Subscriptions’ tab on your member profile. Your current and/or expired subscription will be here.
- Click on the three dots alongside the subscription you want to renew.
- If it has lapsed/expired, there is only the option to ‘Subscribe’.
- If you still have an active subscription, but want to pre-emptively renew it, you’ll have to click on ‘Other Memberships’.
- It will take you to our sign-up page, but your personal details should already be populated.
- Continue to the payment portal – follow these steps in ‘How can I sign up as a member?’ section.
- Your digital card will be updated with the new expiry date – you won’t need to download another one!
How do I get my digital membership card?
- Our new digital membership cards will be issued by our card service called “PassKit”.
- You should receive an email from KZNSA/PassKit that has the link and details on how to install your pass.
- Download the digital card to your wallet. Use it to gain entry into certain events and to claim your complimentary drink. There is an option to print the virtual card if your devices does not support virtual cards, just pop into the gallery and one of our staff members will assist you with this!
- If you do not get the email from PassKit, please contact the gallery staff on membership@kznsagallery.co.za and they will assist in issuing this mail.
How can I update my payment details
- Unfortunately, our system doesn’t allow for you to simply update your payment details on an existing membership subscription. You will need to wait until the membership has expired and then purchase a new membership with your new card details.
I've purchased a family membership, now what?
- Once you have purchased a family membership, the membership team will issue your family a unique coupon code. This coupon will allow the other 3 members of your family to join the gallery website using their own profiles and log in information should they wish.
- Once received, the family members head over to the Membership Options page on the KZNSA website and choose “Family”.
- Click “JOIN NOW” and then type in the coupon and hit enter.
- The signup fee should be discounted and all that’s left if to complete the required fields on the form and hit the “JOIN NOW” button.
- Please contact the gallery staff on membership@kznsagallery.co.za if you do not receive your family coupon.
