Dr Ingrid Bamberg is a creative sociologist whose practice ranges from lecturing, conducting research,capacity-building workshops, to developing policy frameworks and strategic planning. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University Sorbonne Paris Cité (France), a BA in Drama Studies from the University Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris (France) and a PGDip in Management Practice from the University of Cape Town. She also holds certificates in art mediation and inclusive curation from the Node Center for Curatorial Studies in Berlin (Germany). Her passion lies in engaging participants in collaborative, trans-disciplinary and reflective processes through participatory visual, arts-based and practice-based methodologies. She collaborates with artists and art practitioners, and curates artistic and educational projects in and through the visual and performing arts.
