Leo Janga

Leo Janga’s entry into the security industry was working as undercover security at one of Zimbabwe’s leading hotels. After this he founded a furniture business that unfortunately was not spared from the fallout of the 2008 recession. Subsequent to its closure, he decided to move to South Africa to explore business and employment opportunities. He taught himself how to repair computers and CCTV equipment and used these skills to fix electronics during the day while taking on security jobs in the evenings. His schedule was serendipitously altered when his security company shifted him during the day at the KZNSA – which went on to become to a permanent contract with the KZNSA in 2014. Janga creates a safe environment for visitors to our premises and also assists as a technician on digital installations, sound and lighting for events and exhibitions.
