Paul Jones is the Director of Lumec, an economic research organisation that provides services to support evidence-based decision making in green and circular economy projects. He holds an honours degree in economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in economics with a focus on the viability of alternative waste technologies to divert organic municipal solid waste in South Africa.
Paul has more than 16 years of experience working on a diverse range of projects across South Africa. Through his work, he has developed specific expertise in undertaking socio-economic research, strategic planning, organisational development, financial management, cost benefit analyses, value chain analysis, and feasibility studies.
